my ancestor matthew WIEHL lived there before and after
the civil war removing about 1870 to faribault co. His wife
was Sally or Sarah Ann (nee WALKER) who signed a quitclaim deed
in 1867 on their property in Milton twp and she
returned to MO; he remarried and had custody of their several
children; Is there a divorce record for Matthew and Sarah
Wiehl somewhere in Dodge Co.? It has not been located
by many of the descendants and we wonder if he ever got one..Matt
was from baden, germany and he died in Glencoe MN and
is buried in the catholic cemetery with his 2nd wife that he
married in 1869.. this would give a time frame for the separation
or divorce..Sally was still alive in 1871 and mentioned in her
father's will as getting her portion of the estate at her
divorce. Her parents are both buried in Clay Co
MO..but cannot find her death place yet ; it appears from
an old letter that she died in 1906 in ks or
mo...Matt served in the 2nd mn reg. in civil war enlisting at
Wasioja I think. Could he be found in a history there re-war
data??Does anyone have a picture of him.? He was a
friend to a family named KAISER of Kasson, Mn...Any help
about Matthew or Sally Wiehl and their time in Dodge co mn would
be appreciated. They lived there from 1858 thru 1867 at
least..THANKS! Danette dwiehl@yahoo.com

I am looking for information on Andrew WILLOCK, and his
wife Anne MCFADDEN and A.J. DOTY (also known as John DOTY), and
his wife Sahra BIDWELL. Neither of these couples were born
in Dodge County, but both sets of them traveled from Pennsylvania

WILLOCK and Anne MCFADDEN had at least 2 boys whose names were
William WILLOCK and Jesse WILLOCK. John DOTY and Sahra
BIDWELL had at least one daughter whose name was Harriet (Haty)
DOTY. William WILLOCK and Harriet DOTY married and became
my grandparents. I have been able to trace them from Waseca
Minnesota to either Dodge County or Ohlmsted County. If you
have any information regarding any of these people please contact

name was Gertrude Benson (died 4/3/1914) Pfiefer. I have
located her obituary and she is supposed to be buried on the
Benson family plot at the First Lutheran Cemetery. I have
been out there and cannot locate it.. I'm wondering if I have the
right location... Is this cemetery 1 mile east of Blooming on Hwy

base is there also a listing of who is buried in each cemetery?
Any help in the location of this plot would be

John ANDERSON DOB: 1/22/1859 DOD: 10/30/1942. Buried

by another family in Ely, although his father would visit from

We are searching for information on James S. GIBSON and
family. His parents were William P. GIBSON and Martha D.
GIBSON. We believe they resided near Mantorville around
1866. We believe there were nine children in the GIBSON
family. James S. GIBSON may have attended NorthWestern College at
Washoja (?) and a high school in Owatonna. James married Evaline
LIBBY, daughter of Thomas LIBBY, a Methodist minister. The
marriage may have been in Owatonna. James GIBSON attended
Chicago Medical College from which he graduated in 1869.
