I am looking for the obituary and/or death certificate of Louis C. Cady.  I found that he is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Wasioja, Dodge Co., with his wife and children; Hazel, Esther B. Fairbanks, and Myrtle N. Babcock.  It gives the death date of Louis as 1928.   My great, great, great grandfather was Hazel Cady.  He died in MN about 1897 - I'm hoping if I can find the obituary of Louis C. Cady that it might give me information that could lead me to more info since he had a son named Hazel.  The son was probably named after an ancestor. Thank you so much for any help you may be able to give me   Lois loisp@win.bright.net

Searching for records of the marriage [in Dodge county] of Peter A. Peterson and Anna Jenson on 28 Jun 1878.  Also naturalization records from 1879 (possibly in Minnesota)  Peter was born in May 1851 in Copenhagen, Denmark and Anna was born on 10 May 1862 in Copenhagen, Denmark.  These are my husband's great grandparents and would like to take the family further back.  She had been married prior so I do not know if Jenson was her previous married name (could have been Chapman) or her maiden name.  At the time of their marriage she had two children Sadie Chapman and Anne Chapman.  No birthdates are available on these children. I am looking for information about the ARMSTRONG family.  They lived in Kasson somewhere between 1893 and 1903. The father was Philemon D. ARMSTRONG. The wife's name was Jenny.  There were 8 or 9 children, plus a few cousins. The boys were Charles Forester, Matthew Philemon, and Oliver Victor, and the daughters were Ida Estella, Lilly May, Elizabeth Adaline, Lucy Alice and Mabel Delilah. The family may have owned a movie theatre, and they may have also had something to do with sewing machines. The eldest son, Charles, may also have worked for a firearms company, as a demonstration shooter. I believe that Charles married Alma Louise Johnson of Waseca on April 5th 1896.  I have a photograph of the entire family, playing croquet on the lawn in front of a brick home. The house has a large gingerbread trimmed porch. Any information on this family will be gratefully accepted. Sincerely, Robert E. Armstrong, Houston, TX bob-nita@neosoft.com

I have an ancestor named William GARRISON who with his wife Ann Chid ester GARRISON lived the last years of their lives in Mantorville. They both died there  but are buried in Broom Co., NY. I am assuming they were living with an adult child and wish to know if anyone knows of any Garrison in the Mantorville area 1840-1860.  If it was a married daughter they were with, I'm probably 'up a creek' but thought it was at least worth a try!  Thanks. Hello.  I'm searching for information on my great-grandfather Fred BLINN and my great-grandmother Ada (Martin) Blinn who married Fred on June 4, 1873 in Dodge, Minnesota.  Is this a town, or only part of the name Dodge Center, or perhaps Dodge County?  (This info came from the LDS FamilySearch)  He died on Oct. 18, 1889.  Where?  She moved to Cloquet, Minnesota in 1906 and lived there until her death in 1938.  Their sons were G.H. Blinn and E.A. Blinn, both of Cloquet.  There were two other sons (Louis, Seattle?) and Lester (of where?).  My father was Lester Blinn, son of E.A. Blinn. Is this enough info?  The obituary of Ada Martin Blinn says she was born in New York City on Sept. 26, 1855 and moved to Kenyon, Minnesota in 1858.  This is the only information I have on anyone in my family.  I'd appreciate any information anyone might have.  Thanks. lbrazill@in-tch.com

I am searching for information on David McCarthy & Mary Landy from the Dodge Co., Minnesota area.  I have in my possession a marriage license from Mantorville, Dodge Co., Minnesota belonging to John Cummings and Mary McCarthy dated 29 Nov 1873. The witnesses for this license are David McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (probably husband and wife and parents to Mary). With further research I have found a David McCarthy who married Mary Landy.  They had Nellie Elizabeth McCarthy (b. 1 Jan 1861 in Clyman, Dodge Co., Minnesota) who married Oscar Wesley Ingersol 1 Jan 1876 in Concord Township, Dodge Co., Minnesota. I believe that Nellie and Mary were sisters, but I need to find that proof.    According to records associated to my line:
John Cummings born 24 Jun 1848 in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts
Mary McCarthy born about 1859 (according to the 1875 Minnesota Census)
Children: Dora May Cummings born 26 April 1875 in Marshall, Lyon Co., Minnesota.
The descendants from this family eventually migrated  to Iowa and Wisconsin. If you have any information to share on these families, I would be grateful.   Thank you Jamie Fink jjfink@talk21.com
